GWT and I

I first heard about GWT or the Google Web Toolkit at the time of its maiden release but didn't pay much attention to it. I just downloaded the application and let it stay dormant on my pc.

After a year, I had an elbow to elbow encounter with it again. This time as its one future user/developer. It was quite a "try and be satisfied" at my first use of it. But later, it really satisfied me. I found out that it was easy to use - you just have to be familiar with its API. Knowing Java is a plus when learning this toolkit.

I recommend to aspiring Ajax developers to try it.
